seeing that TWATS drive BMW's in general, who only drive them because they think they are the best and really know jack about cars. Id never ever buy a BMW even if i could afford hundreds of millions of pounds, i still wouldnt. The only Mercedes i would buy would be the CL55 and CL65 AMG cars because they have an air of pure brutal power around them, and usually driven by gentlemen, whereas BM's are driven by men who measure the size of their penis one to often. Audi's except the A4's are proper cars driven by proper people, all built to a very high standard, better than anything Mercedes or BMW can produce...the engines are torquey and powerful, although BMW does have a talent for eeking out hp from engines. that said they have fuck all torque and most Audi's and Merc's would thrash them for around town drivability and cruising. even the diesels in BMW's arent torquey enough, whereas a nice A6 1.9 TDI Avant has to be the best long distance cruiser ever! especially fitted with Climate and luxery leather and cruise control. i know, driving down to italy ono cruise control at 120mph and acheiving 45mpg. no need to stop for fuel for 700 miles! love to see an M5 do that...a mercedes diesel could do it, but will break down, and a BMW driver would have crashed as he would be too busy brushing his hair in the sun visor...also, quattro in the wet is much more fun. an Alpina B12 (BM 8 series) couldnt keep up with a VW Passat estate 4motion or an A6 Quattro avant on a twisty mountain road in the dry! and the new Golf R32 beat the BMW 330i around the Top Gear test track with supposedly less power!
