Islam was created because Arabs felt left out of the divine plan. Jews and Christians would ridicule Arabs because of that. Arabs seemed lost without a divine god then all of the sudden Muhammad gets a visit from Allah to give him the Quran. Which was written based upon Muhammad's personal struggles.
This sounds like Jim Jones, David Kuresh and many other cults. This just happens to be the biggest cult.
