As you look through history and some of the biggest wars and fights, most of them had something to do with religion.
It causes more problems then good. It causes seperation, minorities, "gangs" and makes us feel like we are different from each other.
We are not different, we are all human and should try just loving and respecting one another. Amazing things would happen.

and i'd add one more thing: looking back the last 2 or 3000 years you'll notice that religion always became strong when economics were bad. because weak people always needed something to put their hopes on. and even when they suffered from hunger they gave their last money to the churches cause they thought they can buy a place in paradise. cause they were told so by unscrupulous priests that didn't care for anything else than their own wealth.
so yes, spiritualism is ok - organized religion sucks donkey balls
