You change your phone # and the last one to have it just owes everyone in town. I have had to deal with more bill collector's in my life than I have in the past week. We've had Sam's club, Sears and the bank calling 5 or more times a day, I tell them that "We just got this # and I'm very sorry your owed money but this isn't her phone # any more so could you take my # off the list please" like they never have been told that right?
What can I say to stop them? I really have never had to deal with people calling and calling about anything I have ever owed on before.
