I think its a strange practice to continue with in this day and age. The rabbi sucking part especially. Its one thing to need to clean the wound, but I highly doubt that God said specifically "you need to suck that penis once you've cut the skin off". Putting ANY child at risk like that for the sake of tradition is absurd.
