Brokeback Mountain is certainly not the "shove it down your throat" homosexual agenda many right-wingers have tried to cast it (especially as previously noted that the only remotely "explicit" sex scenes are heterosexual).


Hollywood has produced solidly entertaining gay-themed films like "Torch Song Trilogy", "La Cage Au Folles", "The Ritz", "To Wong Foo", "Priscilla"... I'm not sure gay actors or directors/producers would have made Brokeback Mountan a better film but perhaps a gay editor would have been a hell of a start
