There's really no such thing as a "top niche right now." That would imply surfers didn't have a desire for the niche in the past and that demand will go down in the future. Both are false.

It's about supply and demand... Specifically in our case, the size of the supply. We can't do anything about the demand. Either surfers get a boner over it or they don't. We just discover as quickly as we can what they have thought was hot all along. The size of the supply on the other hand -- in other words, the amount of competition -- can be controlled to a certain extent by getting in early.

Discovering niches, business models and sponsors a couple years before the webmaster community as a whole does should be the basis for everything you do. These are not the sort of things that are talked about on GFY or any other board, EVER. Info involving great conversions is just too valuable when we are in an industry that often finds 1:700 to be acceptable.

I like to compare it to what they say about US military technology... If you've heard about it, then it's already obsolete. If you've read about it on GFY, it's already spent... as compared to how it converted 2 or 3 years ago before every webmaster and their brother knew about it.

This holds true for niches and the methods of selling them.
