This has been an ongoing issue since early January, and it all traces back to the DNS servers with Cox. The last I checked their support page they have known that this is an issue that is affecting Cox Communication users across the country since January 1st, and the only response given was "that their technicians are working to resolve the problem, but no estimated timeframe has been determined". From what I've heard it's not just GFY, but a number of major sites as well.
I've been working on the issue, looking at every conceivable possibility on the GFY side. Going through every single detail on programming code, configuration, server setup, etc. Big Ray from
Jupiter Hosting where GFY resides has also bent over backwards, and around the clock, to do everything he can at the data center, along with his full staff.
Bottom line is this, a LOT of people working around the clock, and going WAY above the normal call of duty with GFY and
Jupiter Hosting to figure out solutions to problems that aren't even ours.
All the while and Cox isn't doing a damn thing, even though their customers are paying their salaries for crap internet service.
Go figure.
GFY and
Jupiter Hosting will continue to do what we can in the meantime.
