yea, most of it was improved - there are scenes where you can really tell, one is in the hotel lobby after having some trouble with the rooms - after david says "at the hotel?" you hear laughter and ians face and reaction is obvious
Ian Faith: I've got a small bit of bad news.
Derek Smalls: Makes a change doesn't it.
Ian Faith: We've been cancelled here.
David St. Hubbins: At the hotel?
Ian Faith: No. The gig is cancelled.
rob reiner directed tap - then soon after started his own production/film company called castle rock, which all the films guest has directed were produced and released by.
if you can ever find a copy of the billy crystal HBO special "dont get me started" reiner, guest, eugene levy (of american pise fame and star and co writer of all the guest directed films) and crystal do some serious improve - really fucking funny - crystal does sammy davis better than anyone and theres an old comedian named brother theodore who's interaction with sammy is fucking hilarious.
i had a copy but a friend i lent it too taped over it - i almost killed him because of it.
