My point is that addiction is not the recurrance of a behavior - addiction is a compulsive desire to repeat behavior, with little to no regard for that behavior's consequences. I wouldn't go so far as to call potheads "compulsive".
Yes, weed is a drug, but it doesn't lead to a strong dependancy as do many, many other drugs. I don't buy into the idea that someone is "hooked on weed".
