When you factor the number of policemen and women in general with the number of crimes committed by them there's very little crime on the force. Cops are good and very necessary in peacekeeping. But the system only works where the population recognizes their role, as in most of the industrialized world. 3rd-world nation police are much less effective because the population doesn't recognize their necessity and therefore doesnt respect them....
