Religious jokes aside, I would be completely in favor of carpet bombing the middle east even further into the stone age than they currently are. When it's safe, you roll in and plant a US flag (what ever happened to taking what you've won?), then dig for the oil and start auctioning off the real estate to the highest bidders.

Don't think for two seconds that they wouldn't do it to us. "They" being any of the middle eastern countries, China, North Korea or half a dozen other countries.
