I have been running a webcam site since 1997, used allot of different cameras, started initially with a little quickcam.
in general, almost any camcorder will do fine, if it has a decent picture when you demo it in the store it will work fine. What you need a good one of is the capture card. I use the vidium from winnov (

works flawless with all software.
