What he said mostly, but I don't even think an end user will go $2k to $5K.

Most domains you see posted on GFY are worthless unless you have marketing and development already invested in them.

If a domain has natural type-in traffic its worth substantial money. If it was MinitureGolf.com, yeh you've got some money there. No one is going to type in TinyGolf.com. So unless you developed it and built an income producing business there, its not even worth what you paid to register it.

Don't mean to neg you out, but that's just the reality of the domain market.

And don't feel bad. We've all registered domains names that are nothing but duds and a waste of money, even the big boys have done it.
