Ok, that pede was horrific...I lived most of my life in Louisiana though, and there's not much that scares me anymore. Take a skinny-dip with an aligator. That might give you an idea...
Walking sticks that spring up thier rear end when you touch them like a scorpion...Deadly snakes that can bite underwater and that fall out of the trees to get at you...black wasps that dive bomb you just for living...1 inch red ant looking things (we call them fire ants...not the same as the real thing-worse) that have a stinger as long as thier body that you can stomp on 50 times and not kill and have been known to cause death...not to mention the prostitutes...
