I like taking people out to dinner as a gift, its always fun and you know they'll enjoy it. Otherwise the wine sounds good to me, maybe a CD or something.

Actually, all of my friends need it, so it usually makes for a good gift.

Maybe some concert tickets (far) in advance. She likes metal concerts.
