For me I always fought the idea that I was bi. My very first memory of getting turned on was at the image of two women with each other but I didn't know what the feeling was. Then I would ocassionally have fantasies and read lesbian stories as a teen but I just kept saying to myself that it was just because I was a virgin and anything sexual was going to turn me on.

I even joined the gay/straight group in my freshman year in college but was still telling myself I was straight and everything else was just exciting because sex in general was exciting.

Then I actually had sex with a man and it was wonderful but I was still getting turned on by lesbian stories, etc and I started to allow myself to look at actual women as sexually attractive. Once I allowed myself to see I was bisexual then I could start to see what I really was and only then could I come out to anybody else.

It was always there I just wasn't allowing myself to be out to myself.
