I hate this kind of thread, not just because it brings out the worst in a lot of posters and serves as a reminder of how many clowns this industry attracts, but mainly because once this thread has become yesterday's news, we are left with more questions than answers.

Chris Mallick's response suggests that the people running Dollars4Babes are dishonest, but there is enough fluff in his post to make it difficult to decide whether that is true and he made a professional decision, or whether he is covering for letting his personal whims take over. We have no idea whether the releases really were doctored, because as usual no-one took the simple route, which in this case would have been to show us the before and after. We get instead the routine cop-out of "pending legal action"...

It is possible but seems unlikely, that if a sponsor had altered releases he would knowingly send them to someone with access to the originals. That thought gives rise to wondering whether D4B was unaware of any problem and therefore that any alterations were made by the content provider. Yet no-one seems to be getting very energized about him. Odd.

It doesn't surprise me that someone who has acted, in - let's say - a "less than professional" manner, should be keen to muddy up the issues in threads like this. What always baffles me is that - assuming anyone involved is squeaky clean - they too never seem to provide what it would take to make that clear. Inevitably we end up with doubts about the professionalism and/or honesty of everyone involved, with the choice of either sucking it up and hoping any such shortcomings never impact on us, or taking the safe route and crossing everyone off the "good people to work with" list.

I don't mind making these decisions as such, but having to make them based on drama threads like this gets really old.
I totally agree and you dont see mainstream webmasters talking shit like this about a company on a board..

also when a thread like this get serious it does get dropped off the board and teken to the next level which normally legal action or resolved behind the scenes. either way its a drama board and pissing match I rarely see any real biz take place on the board. its done off the boards

Bottom line the boards give you branding and can either work for you or against you but will never effect a company directly
