To "cure" hiccups, inhale about as much air as you can, and hold it, then swallow. You might think thats hard to do, but you can do it.
For me, it only takes once and they're gone. If you have a severe case, keep doing it. Take in as much air as you can. Remember, dont let any air out while you swallow, thats important.
You're not swallowing air, you're just filling your lungs first then working the swallow motion and it seems to stop the rythmic vibrations or whatever that makes you hiccup by making those parts work on other things. Works everytime.
