Nynex, Bell Atlantic, Bell South, Ameritech, Southwestern Bell Communications (SBC), US West, Pacific Telesis.
Now there are only a few players left since the divestiture of telco some 22 years ago. Funny how that works, and I am sure plenty of money was made along the way.

Sorry you are correct, how I typed it did not come out right. I was trying to say how Pacific bell just recently became known as SBC.
