So I apply for an account at Epassporte so I can pay my affiliates (Seems to be very popular amongst webmasters considering the amount of requests I get)
Get the wire sent, forms filled out etc etc then I get a reply :
"Nicholas,
Our legal department is requiring a model release for your pics.
Do you have this?
Please let me know"
?? LOL... first time Ive had to send model releases to open up a payment type of account, but still, I ask what they need.
They asked me for documents for Lesley Kamarad that features on our Bikinibabes.tv site, So I scan the model release as requested and send back to Epassporte.
They then reply to me with this :
"Hi Nick,
Please be advised the model in question is an employee of ePassporte. We are sure the model release you have has been altered and therefore we kindly request you remove all of her pictures from your website. Our Legal team will be sending out a Cease and Desist to those who continue to use these images.
Please let me know if you are able to comply and I will notify our Legal Team"
Well at this time I had enough, and asked the content provider of the sets to contact Epassporte and the sort the mess out. I was 100% sure the content was ok to use - and even more sure a respectable content provider wouldn't forge legal documents just to sell a set lol
Well it turns out all the docs are correct and ok (as expected)... And after no word from Epassporte about my account, I mail them and ask them what the crack is.
"Hi Nicholas,
I'm sorry but I can not setup your account at this time.
Your wire will be returned"
So then I asked for clarifaction why my account was denied..
This was the reply....
Hi Nick,
We regret to inform you that we will not be able to accept your application
for internal reasons that do not coincide with our long-term goals.
Thank you for applying with ePassporte and good luck in your business"
Thanks Epassporte!!
