Its all marketing, gay or straight, so long as you know your target demographic, you can sell to it.
You dont have to be gay to sell gay sites, no more than you have to be straight to sell straight sites.

They were not hired for just the reasoning of being gay, we actually didn't know at the time of hiring them. After we started doing consulting they asked if they could work with the gay sites.
