Then you are wasting your money
The marketing director at one of the biggest gay sites online is a straight female and she does a kick-ass job of managing BadPuppy.
Its all marketing, gay or straight, so long as you know your target demographic, you can sell to it.
You dont have to be gay to sell gay sites, no more than you have to be straight to sell straight sites.
