To me it seems that if the type in traffic was there and not in the pop ups, you would commission your own content for this. So naturally I would presume that the vast majority of traffic and profit is in the pop ups and you are just piggy backing your ads onto others content under the guise of branding when in actuality it is just a free delivery system.
