If one more sharpen is too much, once you sharpen, go to the Edit Menu and select the Fade Sharpen, or use an unsharp mask on it....


Also this is something that Lensman forced me to learn...

Step Down Sharpening... Basically you do this...

Filter - Sharpen
Image Resize 66%
Filter - Sharpen
Image Resize 66%
etc

Until you get to you final desired size...
Again if the final sharpen was too much, then use the Fade Sharpen routine...

This greatly lessens the artifacting and gives the images an alive look.

Always crop after you resize and sharpen and color correct, if you do the crop first then perform any of those functions you will get Moire ( jaggies on the edges )

Differing skin tones can give a tour a desirable "amatuer" look, but I would avoid overly blue ( oxygen starved ) looking pics and overly yellow ( liver problems ) looking chicks :o)
