So sparing you my life story, I'm a web guy by trade, working in the DVD side of adult. Over the past few days, I've had some extensive talks with a few friends who control very large, prominent DVD companies and their content libraries. All of these guys own shitloads of content (collectively over 5000 scenes), have more money than god, and not a clue about the internet.

An idea I floated was to pool our energies and set up a sort of cooperative infrastructure among a few companies, sharing employees, servers, etc., to build a substantial new program. My question is this - if we built up a network of 20-30 sites featuring all high-end content across niches (straight gonzo, reality, gay, bi, shemale), and had cash and knowledgable leadership behind us, what are the prospects of building a legit, highly profitable program with 12 months?
