Your best bet is to go with 1u servers and not a blade center unless you dont get charged for extra power in your datacenter. Blade centers use tons of power and usually require 208v which costs more. We use ibm x335 single and dual xeon servers in our clusters and they seem to work best for us. You can daisy chain them toghter for remote management and they use cheaper 110v power. Thats just my experience, blades are just too damn expensive to buy and run.
