What the Republicans have mastered at the National level, from Reagan through Bush Sr., and on to Dubya, is the ability to make the press kowtow for any access/information. Bush Jr. is only second to Reagan in the fewest number of press conferences (where the press could ask questions). He is clearly not comfortable answering questions from the press, because to start with he is really not that bright, and since he inevitably gets caught up in his lies.

He is only slightly better at reading pre-scripted teleprompter speeches, written by Karl Rove and his staff. No wonder most nations laugh at our Commander in Chief - he is no Statesman, and he is a mediocre orator - really he's just a buffooon.

Yes, the corruption in this latest Administration is even worse than that perpetrated by Nixon primarily because of the absence of an intelligent and engaged leader at the top, but also because of years of media manipulation from the Republican Presidents that followed in Nixon's footsteps.

I truly hope these criminals are made to pay for their corruption and misdeeds.

Dubya likes to fancy himself a Christian, but he has lied repeatedly to the nation and has the blood on his hands on many brave Americans and innocent foreigners who were killed in the name of his misguided and sometimes evil policies that go against the grain of what I believe America as a nation really stands for.
