Your rant reminds me of a gripe that I have. Have you ever noticed that nearly everyone says that they have been online since before the web? I was there, I don't remember there being that many other folks. Is there something wrong with saying "I first logged on in 1998"?? And I'm not denying your claim of being online since '88, it just sent me off on a rant of my own.
