My fav browser being whatever is my opinion, but IE being the better browser isn't an opinion. NetS once was the strongest browser, when IE finally upgraded and created a better browser, NS died. And as soon as someone finally makes a decent browser, it will overtake IE. FF isn't even close to being in competition with IE. Surfers will stay with the browse that causes the least amount problems while surfing, and the browser with fewest issues currently is IE.
Personally, I find FF slower, but it has some cool features and add-ons. I do have ff installed, but I don?t use it to check my adult site layouts with, it's pointless. I use it to make sure my webmaster areas work with it though, since a large amount of webmasters seem to prefer it over IE, mostly due to the tab surfing and what they think is a more secure browser.
I know IE has security holes. All browsers & software do, the only reason you know and hear about IE problems, and as often as you do, is because those people often target the most popular products for exploits, and the media reports every single attack.
