i just bought a dell inspiron 6000 (15.4" widescreen) and i love it.
heres a tip to save an EXTRA $50 if you choose dell:
1) build your laptop on dell.com
2) save it (by opening up an account which is free)
3) go to Dell store to purchase it
4) get $50 for ordering at the dell store instead of online
