Geeze, if you're going to lie about something as inconsequential in life as money, what else will you lie about? It's pieces of paper with dead people printed on it. Anyone I've dated, family or friends of mine who have ever asked how much money I make/have/made/don't have/etc. will always be given the correct answer.
