BTW TopBucksTrixxxia, sadly I can't think of one government in the whole of Latin America that could possibly be described as "brilliant"
Apart from the culture difference, they are very much the same as elsewhere and totally damned corrupt

The other difference is, their corruption is transparent whereas elsewhere there is an attempt to hide and disguise it.
I dunno whether this is supposed to be "good corruption" if it's not hidden, but is one serious pain in the ass.

Eg... When it reaches a level in a courtroom (actual example) when the judge tells ya he agrees with what you want and adds... "but I want to make it clear I don't want anything for this, but you can invite me for coffee when you have completed the project". Sheesh.. when a judge feels he has to say stuff like that - can you imagine the reality with the others??
