Anyway to touch on what Broke just said...BinLaden hasn't necessarily influenced my life specifically, but that does not mean he does not have influence.

He has influenced 1,000's..sorry 10's of 1,000's of people's lives across this country. His actions on 9/11 and subsequent ramblings there after have made many people fearful. That's how terrorism works. They don't really have to do anything, just the threat of it and it affects the way some people live their daily lives.

Are those who are living scared silly for doing so? I'm sure we'd all agree that they are but they still live scared.

This is why things like the patriot act still go unquestioned by a large part of the population. This is why when people hear about eavesdropping there is still a good portion of people who say things like..."if you aren't doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about." "I'd rather be safe than sorry."

So yes, Bin Laden has had influence on a great many people and their pocket books.
