I posted that just from personal experience.
I've been around computers all my life and hadn't really heard much about generic computer brands (Asus / Sager, others) until last summer. Even on this board, find a thread where someone is asking about laptops / desktops and find a post where someone mentions a generic brand; if any, they're few of them.
