if you want to give your dog the best possible diet in dry food, try brands like natural balance or wellness - both come in a variety of flavours, depending on your dog's stomach sensitivity and/or allergies. they all have vegetables in them for vitamins your dog needs as well as brown rice, which is great for your pup's gut.
if you're willing to take a few tries to get the diet perfect, try raw diet. google it online, it's not just raw meat, it's veggies and fruits and milk/whey proteins as well. raw meat is stored in your freezer usually in precut chunks. we're still working out lee.loo's diet, she's not fond of any dry food yet, really...she eats these natural balance dog food rolls in turkey flavour and picks out the dry food bits i try to sneak in.

I second this one.
My pet store owner friend said that meat meal, bone meal or meat by products are dead dogs and cats.

So check the ingredients.
I feed my dog nutro. I mix a couple bags together also. I just think it might taste better.
