i've got AIM built into netscape 7.2 and it craps out all the time saying "lost your connection to the internet". i have the stand alone version on my laptop (though it would be more stable) while it is a bit more stable, the same thing happens there too.

any ideas what's going on? i have a 3.0 earthlink dsl connection that goes out once every 6 months for 5 mins max.
