oh boy! my ex did exactly the same all the time but not only with me but with her female friends too, it's just the character she has and I think she doesn't think much about her actions.
In my honest opinion, it's never good to "warm up" old relationships. You will most likely just be disappointed no matter how she reacts it will always hurt you in one way or another. You got to develop yourself and don't look back.
I just met one of my ex's (my first love) 3 weeks ago and I was completely disappointed about how she acted, I guess I'm just more realistic nowdays than I used to be and she has probably always been that "cold" but I didn't want it see it
