Just because Fox News dribbles out a complete hagiography and the general media doesn't speak ill of the dead doesn't mean Reagan wasn't a complete fuck up. A whitewash 15 years after the fact doesn't mean shit. History will judge both harshly in the fullness of time. The same fickleness that allows a president to gain in popularity because of airtime during his death works both ways.
