the mother ended up picking up the kid at the airport, and they were driving away and saw terrorists walking into the airport, and the kid got scared for Jack so he ran in after them
Jack found the baggage claim guy and started interrogating him and when jack turned his head the baggage claim guy swallowed a cyanide capsule and died
the terrorists took control of the airport lobby and blew their van up out front into a million pieces...they were firing guns into the air and telling everyone they had control and were going to wait for the president to be notified so he could hear their demands personally
