russia, japan and latin america would make a nice international portfolio. latin america had a nice run last year from the funds i selected. asia ex japan could be good as well as long as its not gung ho china but more broad asia. canada and australia could do well. the canadian dollar rides gold, so you have a double whammy with canada. but if you're into a lot of US oil companies a broad canadian index fund might overexpose you to oil companies. canadian junior mining stocks could be good merger plays as the larger companies look to increase gold reserves.

05 was all about international and commodities, that should continue this year. selected tech stocks could do well like LLTC.
