Age is meaningless if you don't have enough in common to sustain a relationship or even worse, a marriage that ends in divorce and you find yourself starting over at an older age.
I guess it all depends on if you are looking for a life partner or if you don't mind trading them in every few years. Desires change drastically with maturity.
