In Canada an overwhelming percentage of the media is owned by active Liberal supporters or camp followers. Therefore the objectivity of the journalists who depend on these Liberal activists for employment often shows through in skewed one-sided reporting of news. It is often the result of bent questions in bent surveys organized to publish a certain bias -- pro Liberal. The resulting propaganda could make Joseph Goebbels (Hitler's propaganda minister) smile. Joseph Stalin would also understand. Unfortunately the Canadian public, unaware of the bias, form their opinions from what is reported -- leftist political agenda.
And then there is the government-supported CBC -- the socialist dream world -- which turns out Liberal propaganda and multiculturalism in both English and French even in areas of Canada that do not understand French. It does not matter to them. It is only taxpayers' money. Why should they care? The ratings are so low they are a state secret and Canadians never complain. What good would it do? "
