I must have missed the bit about Canada now backing the US.
Especially since the EU has been doing most of the negotiating (a word Bush can't even spell or say, nevermind do) and there are far more countries concerned about the non-proliferation treaty than the US.
It's like saying "Canada now backs Japan on Iran".
