Actually, I'm a New Yorker and the majority of NYer's are dems and liberals.
Something you probably don't know, because Rush hasn't told you about it is that we have voted in a republican mayor for the past 4 elections.
Being liberals we actually think for ourselves and don't tow the party line and actually pick the most intelligent person for the job. The dems have had total tools running for mayor, and because we are open minded, as opposed to closed minded conservatives, we voted for the "right" person.
New York is the greatest city in the world and also the toughest, and guess what it is full of the liberals you despise.
Maybe we are liberal, because we have to be with all the ethnicities living together. We can't be racist,closed minded idiots like those of you in the middle and south of our country, surrounded by your little white world.
