I'm with Aaron on this one. The dry desert air, combined with unfamiliar cigarette/cigar smoke (smoking is banned in most public spaces in California), takes a toll on a non-smoker like myself. Keeping hydrated with bottled water really helps (don't drink the crappy Las Vegas tap water).
I'm not germphobic, however, I am also very careful to carry handi-wipes, and clean my hands after every 5-10 handshakes or before touching anywhere around my face.
I can't afford to be sick, so I always take preventative measures.
If you got sick in Vegas, heed this advice for future shows, where germs are sure to arrive from every corner of the globe.
