I'm sure they did. You didn't buy a booth and you just networked at parties, you can still get business going.
But imagine spending the 10's of $1,000's those with booths did, and see if you can justify those expenditures when compared to your actual ROI.
Instead of giving shout outs to people you hung out at with parties, you should as a visitor of this lame event be on the phone, or writing emails so this business opportunity will be available to you in the future.

That is exactly the biggest problem. AVN failed to attract bigger players to the show, people who would usually exhibit at both shows, now only exhibited @ AEE, or not exhibited at all.

Hustler
Penthouse
Even ADULT.com/Playboy did nothing like usual.
