I suggest you start them off low ($300 is a good place to start then ramp it up) then pay them more as they hit skills/quality milestones

I strongly agree.. It's so nice to hear.. I hope u can influence some of those who do not treat genuine filipino designers same way u do and vise versa.. In freelancing or even in outsourcing companies..
