Yeah I read the thread and its such an open ended question. The variables are what you personally consider doing well, what the programs you use payout, and so much more. I think outside of all the hype many people try to have on the boards you cant pinpoint a number like 50, 500 or whatever a month is a whale. A whale cant be calculated on monthly sales but more on their ability to consistently make a number of sales, knows how to find the sponsors/niches that work for them and sale them, and what the total gross income is.
Example if your investing thousands of dollars into adwords and making tons of sales but most of the profit is spent on the advertising are you more of a whale then the guy who makes the same amount of cash but in a whole lot smaller number of sales?
Anyway my rate of living isnt classy or in need of a high income and making ten or so sales a day to program that pay 35-40 pps can keep me more then happy but at this point I am always going to be looking up at the guy who pulls in twenty or thirty a day thinking he is a whale compared to me. In turn I am sure that affiliate looks up at the guy pulling 100 sales a day and thinks he is a whale.
Gosh I am going in circles here..

so 5 a day... no 10.... no 100...shiiiiiit
