What you have just quoted above obviously is not following my definition of success where I precisely stated it is the money in your BANK LIQUID/ SAVED/ COLLECTING INTEREST.

I don't see how you can call someone broke when he has $1 Million+ liquid in the bank

He may be stupid and spend it unwisely and GO BROKE (has nothing to do with success just his stupidity),

but he is nowhere near the definition : BROKE.

btw, your comprehension of math skills is minimal, I said 20% of 21k = living expenses , thats around $3-4k .
